  Met Jon and Brandon both today. Both standup guys who know their stuff. Jon even made some recommendations for my four year old which she is loving. I just came in to check out the shop as it's near me but ended up picking up a few books I've been looking for because of how impressed I was with their knowledge, service, and welcoming vibes. This is now my new spot to get the books I'm looking for. Great shop and great guys!

  The best comic shop in St. Louis in my opinion. Great guys. Super nice clean store and a great selection of new comics. But the best part to me isn't the comics but rather the other stuff they have. My nephew loves Pokémon cards but can rarely find them. This shop always has a ton of Pokémon cards in stock and at easily the best prices. The individual packs are like a dollar less than target and they have these big sets that my nephews can't get enough of. So if you or your kids are into collecting Pokémon cards this is the best spot in St. Louis.

  I’ve been searching for a comic book store near me, and Altered State Comics blew me away. The selection is incredible everything from vintage issues to the latest releases, all organized and easy to browse. The staff is super knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about comics, which made my visit even better. Whether you’re a lifelong collector or just getting into comics, this place has something for everyone. Easily the best comic book store experience I’ve had in years. Highly recommend!

  I started coming here late may of this year and never had a bad experience. Sense the first time me and my friends walked over here after our last day of school before summer, it’s been a weekly routine to see what dope comics they got. The prices are great, I get two mystery bags every time, one pack of five for five bucks is a steal, and sometimes you’ll get a kicka$$ poster in the pack too. I’ve only recently started reading comics after watching a lot of the MCU and Batman films, and I gotta say this place feeds my addiction pretty well.   Super nice guy and clean, nice organized store! Great decor around the place and good taste in music!🤘The place has comics, pop figurines, books, and other fun nerdy things! Definitely worth checking out! Only complaint was husband ordered a comic he was very excited to get, then went to pick it up and the guy acted like he has no clue about it and already sold out of all copies ordered.
