  My daughter and I came in for a Sunday commander event. We were welcomed warmly. They had a huge collection of singles and even had the token I was looking for. Skyler was incredibly awesome to my daughter. We will be visiting as often as we can. Great shop.

  Not knowledgeable with pokemon whatsoever both employees working a man and woman seemed completely disinterested in working at all. Called ahead to see if they had pokemon stock was informed they did and arrived to find a smaller collection than what id expect a 2 year old to own. Wasted a 2 hour round trip and gas smh. Highly unprofessional and would not recommend this shop unless you havent showered in 3 weeks and live for magic the gathering.

  Both staff members greeted me right when I walked in, and the atmosphere was immediately welcoming. Derek was incredibly patient and helpful, taking the time to walk me through Magic preorders (I was shopping for a gift for my husband, I had no clue how any of it worked) and answer all my questions. You can really tell this place values community—I'll definitely be back!

  This review is long overdue as I have been frequenting the batcave for the better part of two year and have yet to have a negative experience. Both in terms of retail and events batcave games and it's staff have consistently gone above and beyond what I would normally expect to see from a local game store. I first came in looking for a board game called here to slay (highly recommend to the tcg initiate) and soon fell down the rabbit hole that is magic the gathering.   I got baited by the owner's defensive responses to other reviews. Staff was friendly enough, welcomed me when I walked in, asked if I needed any help a little after I started looking around. I was interested in trading in a 10 cards since there was an owners response to a review two months ago claiming that they give up to 90% based on supply/demand. However, I was told 40% cash and 50% credit, and if I wanted to trade anything more than 5 cards, it would take about two days to price it out since there were other collections in the queue.   I’ve been coming here for years. I’m so happy I’ve been able to move my in person D&D games back to the store. Online gaming was fun, but it’s not the same. Now that I’ve gotten back into Magic, the gathering the staff has been helping me to learn everything that’s changed since 1997.

  Usually really enjoy card stores but the young guy with the acne was incredibly disrespectful. We wanted to build a deck but he was just rude, we stood at the front counter as he ignored us made my wife feel like we were bothering him. We just wanted to leave. Thankfully another competent employee helped us. He was nice but the whole experience sucked. Probably steer clear if you're a woman, you are not welcome.
