  We love this store! My 6yr old loves coming here for Pokémon cards and we have a ball looking at all the books and other fun cartoon/comic-related cards and knick-knacks. The owner is nice and knowledgeable and is really sweet with our kiddo (who has paid for cards in change in the counter!) 😁

  During a brief visit to Davis with my husband, I was fortunate enough to discover this gem of a store. It’s undoubtedly one of the standout spots in downtown. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was genuinely down-to-earth, and picked up some fascinating books and horror films to enjoy once we returned home. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

  I would love to support this business but the owner doesn't seem to care about making customers feel welcome, he actually seems annoyed when anyone comes into the store and it makes one want to leave. I am a local and have been coming every now and then for 20 years, so this is not based on a single experience. Recently we had a particularly bad experience which prompted me to write this review. We came in looking for movie rentals and learned that they have a subscription service for "unlimited movies", which the new employee kindly set up for us even though he didnt have any training or do

  Love this place. It's a bit "old building musty" but that doesn't bother me. They have great selection of games, comics, sci-fi/fantasy novels, and trading cards. Particularly Pokémon cards. My kids and I go buy Pokémon cards there at least once a month.

  I always drop by this location whenever i am in Davis. An amazing spot for current comic books, trading cards, variety of DVDS, CDS, VHS tapes, action figures, Video Games from all generations and many misalanious treasures. Fun visit, many great deals and many cool items to purchase. Check it out for yourself.

  The worker at the register I met was incredibly rude for absolutely no reason. I asked him a very simple question—if he carried any kind of portable music player (I’m on the hunt for one, might as well ask! And I saw multiple other kinds of vintage electronics as well as music being sold). He very rudely replied “Uhhh no ? Why we carry those 🙄 “ I literallly asked a simply kind question obviously not a weird question considering the type of store it is.
