This place is incredible. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful. This is the place to go for MtG in San Diego. The drafts each weekend are super fun and always at least 10 or more players show up. Great place to play super high level or first time beginner. I brought my 5 year old son here to start to play and the community along with the staff has been super kind and helpful as he learns to play and draft.

Maybe this place is great? It was clean and well-stocked with some awesome stuff, but when my 6-year-old and I came in, there was a crowd in front of the checkout counter with nobody actually helping them (maybe they were waiting for a gaming table or something), and the entire time my daughter and I were wandering around, nobody offered to help us. I wanted to buy some stuff, but the one guy behind a different counter was busy helping someone get cards, and between that and the crowd around the checkout counter…it was just too stressful to stay. I put my merchandise back, and we left. Probabl

Brute Force Games moves significant amounts of online inventory singles for Magic the Gathering. We came in to check out some singles prior to buying, and they were more than happy to accommodate. Angel, the manager, was the epitome of professionalism and took his time to assist me. Not only did they bring out multiple copies of the cards before we were satisfied with the condition, he also fairly evaluated market price for selling. We also sold some cards to BFG, and the process involved manual input in a tablet to determine trade-in prices. There was only a small discrepancy, but Cheyenne

I cannot say enough about how awesome this shop is! 1- customer service- not only are they friendly but they’re all knowledgeable about the products they’re selling. Most of them play some version of magic , lorcana and flesh and blood to name some of the game variants. 2- BFG’s cards in stock have some of the best MTG singles I’ve seen out of the 5 shops I’ve visited in San Diego. 3 - They have a varied selection of snacks , sodas waters and energy drinks. 5- They have a TON of miniatures and the corresponding books for table top games. there’s so much I can’t fit into a review but I wi

I saw in one of the pictures taken by a customer on their review page that they had vallejo paint product so i hopped the bus to check out what they had but there was no sign of them when i got there. I was disapointed. They did have a large selection of other paints and supplies (brushes and grass tuffs)which was great to see but im a creature of habit so didnt get any paints. I still wanted to support a local hobby store and I didnt want to leave empty handed so i perused selection of warhammer minis and picked up two models that i was happy to find so not a bad experience. I will go back.

Sealed products overpriced. Location probably only good for events and singles. I went in yesterday to buy a Jumpstart booster box (ATLA) since I want to 'buy local' but the price was literally 80% higher than what can be found on TCGPlayer and other big box retailers right now. I asked the employees why the price was so high and they simply stated it was MSRP (which it wasn't according to the official online store) and that they can't compete with big retailers. Sorry, I wanted to buy local but I am not paying $180 for a booster box that I can buy for under a $100 from literally a dozen diffe

They have a great selection of online products and sealed products in store. The atmosphere is nice and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely return when I'm in San Diego.

This was my first time in the store and im new to TCG amd had questions. The store was clean and had a great selection. As soon as I walked in not one employee greeted me or even looked at me. I spent five minutes walking around not sure what to buy and still not one employee asked if I had questions, which I did so just walked out. Probably won't come back here again. I'll go somewhere where they want to take my questions.
