I went for Black Friday(deals supposedly). I accepted their 60% trade in value idk why. But they gave me about $30 credit for $90 or more worth of cards. I used that credit and they had those dragonite marked at 80$. So paid $40 more on top. Went to sell today they told me it’s worth $30-$40. Paid $130 for a $30 ish card. Please make sure to look at prices online I feel played. (my fault also for trusting the guys there). Have any proof needed if they try to say I’m lyin👍

This was a nice stop on our nature adventure! They have a nice mix of cards and tables to play your favorite games, the people are nice and even gave us some card sleeves for free! I’d definitely say make a stop here atleast once on a journey! Although not a lot of Yugioh they told me they are trying to break into the scene. :)

Bought cards from them online through TCGplayer "Chosen Gaming" (this is their name on that platform) got 2 cards that were supposed to be NM (Pikachu) and LP (Zorua) but instead got MP and MP maybe HP. Sent cards back for a refund, I asked if they got the cards and they said no. So I checked there stock on both their website and TCGplayer and they relisted the cards at the conditions I mentioned. Edit: got my refund but still leaving this review for others to be careful when purchasing online from them. Maybe in store is better...

Place has a werid vibe nobody is really friendly or willing to help even the players seem to adapt to this attitude and makes for an overall uncomfortable environment the few times i went in .prices on singles were good but not worth the side eyes and rude remarks from some employees way better environments in town to support

Really cool environment BUT they sell Gundam cards for $10 a pack which is double what Target sells them for & $3 more than the other LGS/TCG stores sell them for in Clovis & Fresno.

I’m so glad they opened back up. The new owners are extremely nice and were helpful with picking out some upgrades for my commander deck. They swung by our pod and were very engaging and fun. I’m excited to keep coming by for magic. They have also Opened the back wall a bit and there are more tables and it’s more spacious. Glad you’re back Clovis Cards!

Upselling Precons by an additional $25 over MSRP is disgusting. A little added context. There’s two things that rubbed me the wrong way. Business practice AND Customer service. Business Practices: I bought a Temur Roar Precon for $45 after taxes. I also ordered the Sultai Arisen a week later, also for $45. I didn’t want to wait an additional week for delivery so I called looking for a Sultai and they had one in Stock, for $70 plus tax. The store raised the price to the lower scalper levels. They, as a store, did not pay more for it, they’re just profiting off of customer FOMO. Customer Serv

The staff members were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always eager to help new players like myself navigate the exciting world of MTG. They offered invaluable advice on deck building and game mechanics, which made my transition into the game smooth and enjoyable. One of the highlights of this shop is the dedicated play area, where players of all skill levels come together to test their decks and engage in friendly competition. The community at this shop is truly one of a kind – a diverse group of players who are supportive, respectful, and always eager to welcome newcomers into the fo
