  Emerald City Comics is the gold standard I measure all other comic shops against. The selection is outstanding, with an impressive range of current issues, back issues, and an excellent mix of new and retro toys. It’s a true collector’s haven. They also host a steady lineup of events and signings with genuinely great guests, which adds a lot to the community feel of the shop. The staff really knows their stuff — and if one person doesn’t have an answer, they know exactly who does. Pricing and grading on key and collectible issues are fair and trustworthy, which matters a lot for collectors.

  This is an amazing store for vintage Toys, collectibles! We visited from out of town and found several things that we had to have. The store has such a big footprint and terrific selection. There’s something for everybody in our family.. Manga, RPG, toys, action figures, tabletop, collectible card games… pretty much anything a nerd family wants to look at or buy. We probably spent an hour there, and could spend many more hours there. Clean, well-organized, pleasant atmosphere. The owner was terrific and we got a great price on a some collectible Star Wars figures, and vintage comics, too!

  I was very disappointed with their pricing. You can literally find everything in this place for way less online. I was about to purchase six different action figures and there was absolutely no discount offered. After walking back and putting them back in their places I checked online and found every single one of the figures for 40 to even 60% less. I urge everyone to always check other places before making big purchases. Also when you bring your used action figures into them to sell them they offer you Pennies on the dollar. That's the even more scary part. They give you very little for what

  Great comic book store and great place to grab hard to find board games in person. Wanna get in a game of Magic: The Gathering? They've got a great game space too. I believe they do D&D and other Role Playing games also.

  Went there last week to buy some quality comic display hard plastic slips, and found some for $1.99 each. Purchased 10 and departed. Found out I was short and went back last Monday. Went to the counter with the same bags and the yo8ung clerk told me the price which was a dollar more a slip. I walked over to the comic bags 10 feet from the counter, and pointed to the sign and told him I was just there days ago and paid the advertised price. Another young clerk standing next to him backed up the confused clerk and said they were advertised incorrectly. I explained how this was really not a g
