  We were on a game and comic store crawl around Sacramento and happened to stop by. I love the pugs, comics, and hot sauces!! Lovely big layout to the store and was greeted by a polite older pug and their sibling. :) I would love to stop by again sometime!

  Absolutely the very best comic book store in town. Ben the owner is very Very passionate about everything comic books. This might be the only legitimate comic book store. You'll find comic books although he has a few toys and collectibles but unlike other so call comic book stores that sell 75% cards/toys/etc and some comic books on the side. Empire comics vault is were you come if your a serious comic book reader. Ben know just about everything about them and can answer all your questions.   What a great shop! Great selection of trade paperbacks, and a nice all ages section for the kiddos. Friendly staff. There are couches and a pug, super cozy. Definitely worth a visit!

  Ben(shop owner) is the best! This is not your typical comic shop.You walk in, there's pugs roaming around ready to greet you with a welcoming attitude. Ben plus staff are open and eager to assist with great recommendations for new and seasoned comic goers.Same goes for the spice lords.Empires also offers a range of tantalizing local hot sauces to meet any level of tolerance, which Ben would be more than happy to guide your pallet.

  Really nice comic store. Has tons of classics and new comics to offer. Quite the selection. Lots of room to move around and sit and relax. Really nice and helpful owner. The pugs are a nice addition really cute and friendly. They also have events at the store you can check their Facebook page for more details. I recommend this store.
