  While prices are a bit more then other shops I've been too, like Galactic in GR, but I wouldn't go as far to say the prices are "scalper" levels. They are high, but manageable to someone like me, and others who visit the shop. Most people are willing to pay those prices, and while that cannot be the case everytime, it shouldn't derail from how hard the owner tries to keep up with the ever so growing market, and well combat prices due to scalpers.   I have been to several other game stores and none compare. Excelsior is more than just a game store, it is a community. Not to be cheesy, but I had a history of not really fitting in with peers from high school and before and in moving to the area and going to Excelsior, my life greatly changed. I have built many friendships and am even marrying someone I met there. The owner is wonderful and always helpful and kind. I have even got to know his family coming in throughout the years.   Literally anything here can be bought for half the price on eBay. Selling 13 dollar packs of pokemon cards. This place has an awful atmosphere of neckbeard and they all just stare at you as if they never witnessed someone not decked out in marvel attire. Save yourself an awkward experience and just buy what you are looking for on eBay.
