  I was passing through town and stopped here to check it out. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by employees and amazed at their massive wall-to-wall selection of games. I was immediately helped by Liz, who was knowledgeable and friendly. I'm very picky about games I collect, and asked her if she could check my stack of games to see if they had the manuals inside (tedious, I know!!). But she was not bothered at all and seemed happy to do it, checking them one by one and even putting them back in their plastic sleeves afterwards.   I’m a long-time customer and I have had nothing but positive experiences. I come into Fire and Ice weekly and possibly even daily at this point. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve patronized the store. I even know most of the staff on a first name basis. Some exceptional staff that I have dealt with in no particular order are, Steph, Dare, Lee, Tim, Dakota, and the man himself Ryan. They have always delivered and have made me feel welcome.   Despite my giving 3 stars, Fire & Ice is probably my favorite shop to frequent for MTG in NORCAL. THE POSITIVE: They have a large selection of cards, foil staples, tcg merch and a friendly/enthused/helpful staff to boot. I've spent a ton of money between the Rocklin and Cit Heights locations over the past few years. THE NEGATIVE: There are two reasons I'm rating 3/5: Consistency with pricing and consistency with condition of cards. I've received quotes on cards from staff, only to have the price change (always more expensive in my experience) once I'm checking out at the register. I've also
