  Owner is nice but the comics I wanted he didn’t give them to me he just recommended some stuff instead of the ones I wanted the place is on third floor wich made me sit for half an hour until I called he welcomed me in he has a lot of action figures and Stuff but the comics he recommended were bad one comic that I bought had a booger on it wasn’t a good place and vibe they have only small comics like one comic has 5 pages they were expensive very I searched them online wich was way out of the price range so ye basically scammed me

  The place is decent, especially since it's one of the only places to play card games in the area. Owner doesn't mind people buying and selling cards which is nice considering other LGS policies. (At least in my experience here) Big warning that they like to sell over MSRP here.. Have went in multiple times to ask about availability for certain products and have often been told "How much do you want to pay?" Finally being told it wasn't in stock when I mention MSRP prices. If that doesn't bother you then the 3 star rating may seem more like a 4 or even 5, but otherwise stay away. The owner i

  I have been going to Fordham Comics weekly since the early 1990s, and have found Phil's store to be the best place in The Bronx to pick up the vast majority of comics I buy. Phil has been in business there since 1982 and if he, or his store was not as good as it was he would be gone like so many others who came after him. Wednesdays are the days new books usually come in and his hours and excellent. As a matter of fact, I'm going to be headed there soon ...

  Been coming here for 15 years and it's still awesome, phil is starting to make the positive changes he needs to make both in the business and personally. So many memories of life long friends that I have met here, a safe haven for me. This place is timelss...great place for magic and comics too!

  It's ok if you're looking for a chill vibe. It's a cramp for Friday night magic, and the owner can be loud. Everyone knows each other there. They sell sodas and water—a wide variety of card games to purchase.

  They have a little bit of everything which is great but the customer service (over the phone) is terrible. Even walking in, I would always say hello with a smile and I rarely get a glance over. I know everyday isn't amazing but a simple hi doesn't hurt. I hope you guys that work there can read this and maybe take what I'm saying into consideration. If you don't care about how rude these people are, and only care about whatever comic or item you need, then just walk in and buy what you need and leave.
