  Very cool place with lots of selection of packs. Really enjoy getting pokemon packs especially since I can't find them anyhwere. Also super friendly staff that remeber me due to pokemon league nights. And pokemon nights are so much fun here with the staff helping me learn the game and giving out prize packs by the end of it all. Loves this place.

  I do not suggest coming here to sell your singles or shop at either. You will get extremely lowballed for the price of your card at rates of 60% OR LESS, you’re better off selling it on the marketplace instead of being conned. Prices of booster packs are almost always 2X the price of retail or as of late 3X. This store does promote scalping of nearby stores in the area that carry Pokémon or any sort of collectible product. They will buyout product from scalpers from any TCG and resell at market price. Absolutely disgusting, do not support Grand Slam.

  I previously left a negative review that I want to redact after my experience today. I bought an ETB the day prior and didn’t realize it had a tear in the seal until I got home. After leaving the review I was reached out to about getting my product replaced for a cleaner item. What I really appreciated was how the staff and the owner allowed me to bring my purchase back and swap it for another product. The customer service was great and I felt like my time and money was valued.

  Walked into Grand Slam Card Shop fully ready to drop serious money, including on a box priced at $590, which was already absurdly overpriced. When I asked about it, an older employee was rude, dismissive, and acted like helping customers was an inconvenience. Zero professionalism, zero enthusiasm, and zero respect for new collectors. This kind of attitude absolutely ruins the hobby. Since this is the only card shop in Murfreesboro, it’s obvious they take advantage of having no competition—overpricing boxes and cards while providing some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced anywhere.

  POKEMON PEOPLE- DONT BE FOOLED BY THEIR RATING- THEY HAVE A SEPERATE SPORTS STORE THERE WHICH IS WHAT IS HIGHLY RATED I GUESS- BUT THE POKEMON STORE HERE IS TRASH!! I am a customer here BY default. Because it is the only place in Murfreesboro that has Pokémon cards... If there was a store even remotely closer here, this place wouldn't have a chance. Any and all business they have, is because we're forced with no options. They suck. They are over priced.   While this store has a great selection of Pokemon TCG products, I cannot stress enough to do your research before you go in this store. As a store that claims to use trusted sources to determine their prices, this establishment just sold an open box to my unsuspecting husband at $70 over market (on sealed product mind you). While one could say my husband should have done his research, it’s kind of crazy to me that a store that has such a presence in town would deliberately stay quiet when my husband paid for the box.   I come in here regularly and I am always blown away by the huge selection of product they offer. Everyone in the Pokémon and Sports section have always been super kind and gone out of their way to see if I needed help with anything. They have an insane amount of knowledge on their respective products and always are willing to teach. I would highly recommend this card store to anyone.
