  The people that run the place are awesome. They set up a free pantry inside their store to help members of the community who are facing food insecurity. We need more small business like theirs. Also, they sell really cool stuff! They’ve got some really neat vending machines with toys and a whole bunch of other cool stuff that my six year old stuff is now asking Santa to bring him for Christmas.

  Probably one of the coolest little board game shops I've been to bathrooms were immaculate and they're doing a nice thing for the people that need it with a little food pantry. All in all great little shop. Amazing prices! Lots of fun things like Warhammer amongst other things lots of great magic the gathering cards they even have the paint for your figures. Just a really good shop. You should stop by whenever you get a chance also the funniest little no slip sign I have ever seen in my life

  The place was really organized, clean, and clear flow. Most staff were helpful and explained things well. Only 1 person was condescending when my brother in law (who I’m barely getting into games to eventually do a dnd campaign with their whole family) asked about catan since we’d seen in pictures before going that they had board games. That staff said “That’s a target game, we don’t sell that here” as if they never sold it before? But other than that, the other person was really helpful and led us to another place that did sell what he was looking for.

  I'm still a newbie to MTG. This is probably the cleanest, most organized card shop I've been to. The employees were nice, welcoming, and very knowlegable. Everything was organized and easy to look over. There were plenty of tables for ongoing in-person matches, too. They had a nice selection of supplies for purchase for MTG and D&D. The person who helped me out even gave a cool recommendation for a MTG PreCon to try out. Decent pricing.

  Hammerhead is a mixed bag for mtg players. First the good stuff, awesome play space and a great collection of cards. Seriously, looking through their case is an experience on its own. Moving on, every time I go in there I feel like I’m bothering the staff. They’ll say welcome in and look down at whatever they’re doing. Most other shops I’ve been to I feel like as a customer there I’m the top priority; here it’s like they’re waiting for everyone else to take the customer before they have to. It seems like they dread pulling cards or helping people. Speaking of cards- the $1 minimum on each card

  Games Workshop and more. The Shark Tank and a great selection of GW products plus terrain and modeling accessories from AK Interactive, Army Painter, they are getting Turbo Dork paints. They carry Gaslands and accessories. They have a consignment area that's filled. Definitely a great addition to the Sacramento gaming scene.

  Loved this place. I took my 12 year old grandson to play Magic. It's a game that he is learning and loves playing. Never had more helpful employees, manager of the store and all that were there to play beat to the side while he played and had conversations with some and enjoyed how My Grandson was welcomed. Thanks to all who were there and included Griffin. laying .
