  Hastur Games is an absolute institution. I’ve been visiting this shop since the late 90s, back when I lived in Nevada, and among my gaming group, this place had a near-mythical status. Decades later, it still lives up to the legend. It’s incredibly well-stocked with a massive selection of tabletop RPGs, board games, and more. The staff is consistently friendly and knowledgeable, making every visit a great experience. I still make it a point to stop by every time I'm in the Salt Lake area. "Hastur has it" isn't just a slogan—it’s the truth!

  Genuinely most friendly and engaging game store me and my wife have visited yet. It’s tough, we’ve visited 3 Game Havens and a Rift Gate and gotten really unfriendly and not very engaging interactions. Hastur has a good selection of Lorcana cards and even though it’s not a broad selection, I’d go here any day just for the vibe and community! Entering a new hobby such as TCGs and having a friendly community to shop around is a great feeling.   Great LGS. Lots of product variety, in-store kiosk for buying singles, and overall great people. I've only been inside a couple of times, but I've really enjoyed my time there. I really wanted to highlight their customer service, though. I bought some items off their website, and when the order got delayed, I got sent some goodies (SLD Plains, some Bloomburrow promo boosters, and a couple of useful singles for my decks), along with a great note on my receipt. Highly recommend this place.

  I switch between being a passive and a casual gamer and I've been here about 4 times now. With that said, this store is great for people like me, with a wide assortment of games to choose from and friendly staff. Some days I was offered help, some days I requested it myself. (I don't think it's realistic to expect almost any store to constantly send employees to every roaming customer.) Each time they were very kind and helpful, and the store is nicely organized with its game selection, which makes browsing simple.

  First time in the show was for a prerelease. I was welcomed like a regular and Rory was very helpful. They are stocked full of games and singles for most trading card games. Magic the Gathering is my go-to so that is typically what I buy. Their system allows you to add cards to a list and they go and grab them for you. Super rad. Come and play here if you want an excellent game shop!
