  It's a nice store. They have movies, video games, action figures and collectibles gallor! I honestly mostly window shop, but I have pulled the trigger on a few games. It's a pretty decent selection, and the one in Jeffersonville is just as nice.

  I check this store’s reviews every six months to a year, and the owner’s behavior has not changed. He responds to nearly every negative review and frequently misrepresents what customers said to rewrite the narrative, make himself look like the victim, and manipulate how the reviews read. The store also prices items at eBay asking prices instead of typical sold prices. That is a business choice, but the bigger issue is his conduct. He comes across as unhinged, lashes out at customers, and seems incapable of basic conflict resolution or respectful communication. He should hire someone else to

  As someone who has real passion for collecting and playing games from my childhood, I don’t think I will ever be able to shop anywhere for them other than Hollywood games. The quality of customer care and service, the very wide selection, the conversations I get to have with staff and owners and the always honest opinions I get when asking for them make this store the absolute best place to shop for retro games and consoles. I can’t give this store anything but praise, and I will most definitely be frequenting it for years to come!!!

  What happened to this place? Had wonderful staff with a great atmosphere. Never had any issues with purchases, but our latest experience was less than satisfying. Acted as if we bothered them while IN the store. Almost all of our discs are covered in ugly scratches and odd smudges as if they are stains, and only 3 of 8 discs work without glitches or skips. I can find the full 1st season of MHA for 40$ brand new when they want 30 for just a part 1 disc, and when we called to ask for a return policy just today they were very uncaring. We will no longer be coming to Hollywood Video for any purcha

  For nearly a year Hollywood has made a space for new and casual card game players. For example we have had a whole group form here for One Piece and the group has all become close friends. They also have a massive selection of DVDs and games and even odd activities and odd rare figures you never thought you would find locally. In terms of card games they do what they can to keep in stock with every popular card game.   Purchased Pokemon Black a while ago for quite a lot and when I got home ready to play it, I found that it has a sizable hole in the back of the game and it will not work at all. I've been back since multiple times different weeks to only constantly be told "we're waiting on security to send images of the scan when we got the game in store" meanwhile being incredibly rude to me saying that "I checked that game when we got it and it didn't have anything wrong with it".   They wouldn't give pricing over the phone when I called to inquire about an item, which is a known bad business practice that always indicates either outrageous pricing or “price depends on the customer”.
