  This store has a great atmosphere and had a wide selection of pro teams/universities, at great prices. They even had items to purchase from schools I’m not able to find anywhere else, such as Stephen F. Austin and the University of Houston. The owner was very friendly and helpful in assisting with finding Christmas gifts for my friends & family!

  This place is awesome! Perry (the owner) is always sooooooo friendly, especially with our kids, helping them understand different cards, offering trades for things they can't buy, educating them, sharing stories of good cards, etc. The boys LOVE the monthly Trade Nights where they can trade with other kids to find cool cards (like Pokémon from Italy), learn from each other in a safe environment, etc. Lotta cool other sports collectibles, decorations, apparel, etc. Highly recommend stopping by if you're downtown!

  I had a truly wonderful time visiting Hometown Hits. It was genuinely a pleasure chatting with the owners – their friendly approach and clear enthusiasm really set a great tone for the place. What I particularly appreciated was their thoughtful nod to Jim, who had Texas Monkey Business right here. It's fantastic how they've respectfully carried on the spirit of the spot, and it's clear even in their logo design that they honor the legacy of Jim's store. That continuity adds a really special dimension to Hometown Hits. This is a fantastic place, and I'm looking forward to watching it succeed!
