  I love this place. Level Up is the place I get most of my MTG singles. I've never had a bad or negative experience when interacting with the staff. I am always greeted by staff, even when they may be busy with other customers or pulling orders. I think the prices on singles are pretty convenient. I don't have to worry about my cards going missing in the mail ordering online - I just pop into the store and buy cards on hand. They do have the option to order online and have cards shipped to you, but I have not tried the shipping option. I live close enough to make the 20/30minute drive to pick u

  Good experience - but prices are high! Wasn’t sure what to expect because some reviews were a little mixed, but I had a great first experience, the vibes inside were very friendly and everyone was helpful. You can almost definitely find sealed Pokemon product at better prices, but it’s pretty clear they use those profits to supplement the singles business (which is more fun for the community and usually a lot harder to make money off of). Good variety of both sealed product and singles on display!

  Bought a surging sparks etb and 8 out of the 9 packs had the same cards in the same order. In sequential order out of the box 2 packs in a row had the same 4 cards. The same amount of the same card in the 5th slot as well. Seems either resealed packs or insane happenstance.

  I honestly thought I'd reviewed this place a while ago but it's hands down the best TCG singles store in MD. Yeah there's other stores but they're missing the selection that Level Up has. You can find Pokemon, MTG, One Piece and more. They have rares, commons, cards that have a legacy around them, anything. I go here pretty regularly cause the staff is friendly and there's always something new in the glass cabinets. If you haven't been then honestly it's worth the trip and then some.

  Scammed fake packs. I bought mega evolution packs from this store yesterday. After asking for them, instead of grabbing them from the display, staff grabbed it from the back. I held them and they felt off to me initially. I opened them and noticed the cards were weird. I suspect vendors bought scammed fake packs or perhaps something more malicious. I’m ashamed because I’ve bought from this store multiple times in the past and never had these issues.   we come here all the time on the hunt for shiny pokémon cards and today we met M & they were incredibly helpful and scrolled through their computer of all the shiny cards they had. it was so helpful and so much fun & they were the first people to ever tell us about the online catalog. great experience definitely recommend it to my other card collecting / playing friends!
