  I’d been to Mammoth before, ten or twelve months ago in a business trip. Was told at that time their back issue boxes weren’t ready to be looked through and were for internet sales only. They would get them out soon. I bought some bags then. The store was clean and had a good selection of new books. After recently seeing on Mammoth web site that they had boxes out and looked to have a good selection I decided to go soon. THEIR WEB SITE CLEARLY SAYS THEY OPEN AT 12:30. I Traveled 60 MILES with my son today for some weekend comic hunting. We got there at 12:15 so we could browse for a while then

  I love this place! I've been coming here for probably close to a year now. If they don't have something, they're happy to order it for you. They've went out of their way to order me comics based on my interests and I really appreciate that as well as the friendliness they show. Would definitely recommend this place and I'm so glad they're so close to me.

  People that work there are very rude. It's a poorly kept shop. Not a lot of selection. And it's in the middle of one of the worst spots in Tulsa. My son and I have all but given up on comicbook collecting in traditional stores. Comics are all but dead. Agenda driven tripe pinned these days has no really story line. And this store is a reflection of death of the medium.

  Cool shop, but nothing like the photos online. Owner says he has lots of back-issues, but very little in the actual store. It's clean and fairly well-organized. Worth checking out...but don't expect online perception to equal reality.

  I LOVE this store. I have been shopping at Empire and Wizards since I was 14 or 15 and am now nearly 40. Empire is decent, but Wizards, though having a good selection of non-comic items, sucks ass in the customer service dept. (It also generally smells like the back end of a convention.) I recently made the move to Tulsa right by Mammoth so I thought I would give it a try. FINALLY, a real comic shop!!! They have a great ever changing selection of back issues. I have found very early issues of some of my faves for cheap. I can still do a subscription, but I don't have to worry about the owner

  Mammoth Comics is by far the top store in Oklahoma for comics and related collectibles. I'm always blown away by their huge selection of new comics, and hard to find back issues. Their back wall is something to truly behold when compared with the other stores in the area. I've been a collector for over 30 years, and have shopped at literally every store in the region, and none of them have ever come close to being as awesome as Mammoth Comics. Great staff, very knowledgeable, and if they don't have what you're looking for, they will get it for you. Great books, great deals, great selection.
