  I am probably going to regret this (because now this store will become to popular), but this shop is amazing. I have been shopping here for over 20+, and this store has everything. Tons of back issues and current issues. Comic supplies, sports and non-sport cards. This place has it all!! I also couldn’t talk about this store without talking about the man behind the counter, Leo.   Fantastic classic comic shop. The long boxes are deep with this one. Easy to find this week's titles to the last couple months, or a fun dig through boxes for older stuff and hidden tressures. Great selection of trades and bundled up runs (a sadly rare thing for comic shops these days). Best prices of the big three comic shops in town. The staff won't bother you while you look, but if you ask them for help are super friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this place enough.

  I love walking through the door and feeling like a kid again. Most of the shop has never changed and there are a few baseball cards that I wanted in the 90s but never pulled the trigger on. It's comforting to see those cards hanging around. I was never majorly into comics, but I still like to stop by every so often to pick up something interesting. Mavericks is one of the best physical representations of things that bring nostalgic joy in life. Although i'm no longer riding my 5 speed up there regularly to buy a couple packs of baseball or basketball cards, I still get the same giddy feeli
