  Happened to stumble upon an ad for this place through fb marketplace. Tucked away on the 3rd floor of the building is this quaint little card shop. My husband and I have been desperate to find decent local shops that did not sell their products at ridiculous margins. Walking in there is one large case with English single cards nicely displayed and to the right of the entrance there are also Japanese singles. Alex was extremely kind and helpful.   Clearly the best Pokemon trading shop in the DMV. Period. Friendly atmosphere, Alex (owner) is very hospitable, Anthony (staff) is very helpful - it is THE PLACE to hang out and trade. If you like Pokemon cards, I’d highly recommend coming here. If you are new, definitely come here. They go by market price. They buy at 80% for trade and 70% for cash. It is MORE than fair.   Visiting pocket haven was a great experience, and my son really enjoyed it. We picked up some cards at really good prices and I had a very fun time chatting with Alex, the owner.   Me and a buddy of mine had some TCG related business in the areas, and happened saw this video on my FYP on Instagram. We walked, there admittedly skeptical of such an unheard of niche place but it did not disappoint. We went to see very fair and reasonable prices for items, which if you've been paying attention as of late, you know is very hard to come by. Despite being tucked away on the third floor of random office space, do not let it deceive you. The staff, and the customers who were there were tremendously nice, and welcoming, which unfortunately isn't as common at TCG stores anymore :(.

  I mean, it’s Pocket Haven. Nuff said. But for real, it’s a great hidden gem of a TCG store. Great customer service, well organized cards/products, chill atmosphere and plenty of space to spread out. Alex and his team are awesome all around!
