  How could I not give a 5 out of five stars! I went in there today as a 12-year old boy (in a 40-year-old body) with adult money! They have such an awesome selection of comics and action figures. I was only planning on spending about 20 minutes in there. Pretty sure that was an hour and a half. Staff is super friendly and they really know their stuff. They had no problem discussing comics from my childhood, and knew more about it than I did. Really appreciate the service and the wide selection of stuff that they have.   Visited for the first time this weekend. My son is a huge Marvel fan and we are starting his comic collection. Everything we look for online seems to have a lot of DC and Marvel combined which is fine but to start with I would like to have the ones he really likes the most. Anyway, this place did NOT disappoint. It has so many comics to go through plus figurines and baseball cards and so many other treasures. Its very large inside and has a lot to look at.   It was my first time in rainbow personally I absolutely loved this store and was planning on making some large purchases here. But.. unfortunately one of the employees working was incredibly rude and condescending for no reason, I accidentally stayed a few mins past close because I didn’t realize the time. he was very snotty and rude about it. I was even super apologetic even after a very rude interaction. He then continued to snuff and roll his eyes at me after my apology about keeping them a few mins late. Gave me a very snarky Yeah K!   Its a cool shop and they have alot of neat things in there. Unfortunately, when it comes to tcgs especially the singles portion they know nothing. If a card they priced out years ago is 15$ then it'll always be 15$ to them. And when you try to counter them with current prices they grumble or say "our guy that knows that tcg isn't in". Its absurd because with the amount of singles they have you'd think they would be fluent in that trade.

  The guy was pretty rude and didn’t want to help teach me anything really regardless if the cards I brought weren’t worth much. I asked him what cards she might be looking for and strictly said none there is none that he’s interested in even if I had something special so made me think he’s pretty big headed and even if he’s not looking for a card he could of offered up like o well if you had this card or that card that would be pretty cool man or here check these out not many of these around…. I’ll check out a different card shop.

  Great selection and friendly employees! The only thing I would say to improve on is organization with the comics in the back because they’re not separated by label which makes it hard to find what you’re looking for. But it’s not too much of a big deal! Other than that this place is great!!! This is the best comic book store in the upper midwest — I’m going to miss it once I move away 🥲
