  Every time I shop at this store it’s a great experience! The guy & gal behind the desk are super sweet, know what they’re talking about, and always super helpful. And on top of that-with the way the books are gently taken care of, along with how the store is organized, down to how it’s stocked… You can tell they genuinely care about the contents of the store and their products. It’s more than just a job for them. And that’s rare to see in retail. The lady with the pink hair particularly is my favorite. They have an extensive collection of comics, anime, as well as hard to find toys for all the grown boys and girls. Their extensive inventory has something for everyone. You put all that together along with a helpful caring staff willing to go the extra mile to please and you get Ricks, the best comic shop in Tennessee!!!

  Nice store, lots of cool stuff to look at. They do buy Funko Pops which is why I stopped in. They have a buyer who comes in on Tuesdays. He pays $2 each and is willing to pay a little more if one is valued over $60. Recommend bringing them in boxes or a tote that you don't mind parting with.

  I stumbled upon on this place by accident, but I’m so glad that I walked in! The sheer volume of comics and related merchandise is astounding. I had fun getting lost in there and checking out all the comics that caught my attention. Each staff members that I talked to were so helpful and welcoming. It was a pleasure being inside here, and I already have plans to bring my friend back here as well.

  Rick's Comic City is an EXCELLENT comic shop with loads of choice, a wide selection, and that has a great staff to boot. I'm not from the area but I visit every few months, and I go here to see what new comics, trades, and toys they have in. The comic selection is IMPRESSIVE. New comics range from mainstream offerings to smaller labels to some Kickstarter and other projects. Their prices for back issues are very fair, they add a discount currently for TPB and have a TON in stock; its WELL worth going to.
