Took the kids to Search & Rescue Cards in Lexington, Kentucky. Pretty sure this will be a lifelong memory for all of them. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, patient, and genuinely passionate about teaching kids about all things tradings cards. They have a cool shop and do a tremendous job to spark curiosity in kids of all ages. Go grab a card, box or pack and say hello to these awesome people! Also, owner is a U.S. Veteran, so go support him!

Very welcoming staff. Gentleman who is spoke with broke down all the different products and how and why each box was different. Whether a beginner or expert in cards i would highly recommend. I was a first time shopper and didn't pull anything massive but it doesn't always go your way. 10/10 will definitely return. My wife bought me a mega Topps chrome and a pack of Topps hobby. Like I said no luck on the pulls but great time was had and also threw in a poster after the fact which was unexpected 😅

Fantastic card shop, great place to take your kids that are interested in collecting cards - baseball, basketball, football - they’ve got everything. The owner is super enthusiastic and knowledgeable, reminds me of the local card shop back in the day - great experience from beginning to end - and the store’s website is awesome! If all the times I’ve taken my family there, never had a negative experience…it’s my kids’ favorite place!

This place started good but has changed and got much worse over time. Experience has gone down and prices gone up. They are just worried about tic toc now and selling online. They started out encouraging kids in the hobby and now seem annoyed by them. There is another card shop about 1/4 mile away where booster boxes are $20+ cheaper and they seem to be glad you are there. I think we are done going there. I hope they get better.

The owners, Brian & Linda Silva are two of the nicest, friendliest, people you’ll ever meet! They helped immensely with my first ever PSA submission. Originally I had about 30 cards I thought were good enough to be graded. After thoroughly inspecting each one under a light and jeweler’s eye, Brian found flaws and/or imperfections on 23 of the 30 cards. This review ended up saving me over $600 in grading fees, insurance and shipping. Once my cards came back, they were all PSA9’s and 1 PSA10! These grades were EXACTLY as Brian had predicted. Search & Rescue… the best card shop in central Kentuck

Smaller shop. Limited selection of wax, but most of it is reasonably priced, at least. Value boxes are a nice touch with $1-5 singles of current players folks might collect. “Higher end” singles seem to all be priced over going rates. Owner doesnt seem willing to go below 10% off his sticker price, even if current comps are significantly lower. Cant judge on how someone chooses to run their business, but I’ll have to take my business to more flexible shops.

5 STARS!!!! I stopped in on my way back to Cincinnati. What an awesome place. I was treated as a regular from the moment I walked in. The cards were priced fair. There was lots of product to choose from. I went through the value boxes and found some cool stuff for my PC. I said to the owner, jokingly, after I pay we should open a box of the Topps finest UEFA competitions cards. He agreed and off we went. This is what card shops in the 80's were like. I can't wait to go back the next time I am in Lexington. I would have given 6 stars if I could!!!!

Trying to be fair here.. Decent at best I guess ? Selection was very thin on singles, mostly raw cards that were mostly not near last 5-10 sales Negotiated a little bit for my kid but still feel like we paid 20% over actual value (felt obligated to buy since I drove 45 mins for my kid) No hobby boxes in stock. No place for us to sit and rip. Also no place to sit in general. Grabbed a mega box at about 10-15$ over actual value. I guess this is a place to go that’s convenient and something to do. Asked about more “better cards” autos. Numbered. Psa. Nothing offered/available.. Wishing them
