  I went in this weekend to pick up some supplies for a model kit I’ve been working on, and overall it was a good experience. The store had a solid selection of paints, brushes, and small parts, and everything was pretty well organized. I did have to look around a bit for one specific item, but that’s kind of normal in hobby stores. The staff member at the counter was polite and answered a couple questions I had without making it feel rushed. Prices seemed fair compared to what I’ve seen online. I’ll likely come back when I start my next project.

  I live near this shop. I pop in weekly to grab paints for my Warhammer hobby, buy models, Magic cards, etc. If something is out of stock or if I know that something cool is coming up for preorder, I talk to James (the shop owner) about it and he can usually order it for me. He has even gone out of his way to make sure that I get what I need. Top notch service. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere makes you feel welcome The Broken Dice Guild is my go to hobby store, hands down. I have recommended this shop to all of my nerdy friends and co-workers.

  BDG has become my new home for Cards and Games. Its smaller and I like that about this place, everyone that works there not only knows me by name but they know my kids as well. The staff are top notch and are very knowledgeable about the games they sell. There is something for everyone here. If you're looking for a small game store that feels like home and not a department store.. this is the place!!

  Always friendly and helpful. We stop in here everytime we visit Mobile. The staff are always attentive, friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcome and are honestly a delight. This may be a smaller shop but they have that feel good family style vibe that makes you want to visit again and again (the bigger store in the area just doesn't have that). They make you feel like a fellow gamer instead of just a shopper. I highly recommend this shop. I myself will continue to visit everytime I'm in the area. Ohh and the bathroom is nice and was immaculately clean. Us ladies know that's important

  Two stars is being generous. I was really excited to visit this shop seeing as there aren't a great variety of hobby shops in the Mobile area. I called beforehand and asked if they sell Yu-Gi-Oh cards, and the owner confirmed that they do. However, if you don't play tabletop games or MTG, you might as well completely avoid this place. I went inside and took my time looking through the shelves only to find a small selection of cards shoved in old dusty tins. Still I decided to look through them figuring I wasted my time driving out so I might as well buy something to support this small business
