  Don’t listen to the noise from people who only came once to complain about their experience. This place is the best player friendly place there is in the IE! If you’re just here to be a scalper or collect high product there’s still stuff for you here too! But this is a primarily player focused environment !

  Came for prerelease and had a great time. Store was clean and the community was friendly. The owner was welcoming and accommodated for the large amount of people present for the same event. There were snack and drinks available to purchase with a great variety. Restrooms were clean. Plenty of accessories available for purchase for the tcg players along with a great board game selection for the tabletop scene. Will come back again!

  Fun environment with multiple card games shooting off. It gets packed with the amount of people showing up to the point were space is even needed outside! Just in case bring your sweater and have fun with the friendly locals. All tournaments are fairly laid back with new players constantly coming in and getting help. The shop owner Greg is a fun character that looks after his locals and is inviting to any newcomers. The winning and participation prizing is top teir and tends to go far above any other shop. Stop on by and check the store out :)

  Overselling on the pre release events. Product stacked to the roof all scalper prices. Raised pre release price last second, first day Friday was 45 and Monday he bumped it to 50. Had to sit out in the cold to play the tournament. People couldn’t even walk through the store imagine if an emergency happened def unsafe environment. Crazy how people like this get their hands on so much product to only screw over the community. Glad the couple of locals who go get hooked up but overall horrible business

  This is the worst local card shop I have ever been too. The owner is super greedy, changed pre-release price last minute from $40 to $50 without any notification, over sold tickets, didn’t even have enough space inside and had to set up tables on the side walk without any safety boarder. And this is less than 60 degrees weather outside. The owner is also super rude and arrogant. Even other people heard the way he talked to customers and saying he’s so rude. Definitely not supporting a local card shop like this.

  Rude owner, inside is like a fire Hazard waiting to happen. Owner raise price for event with no notification last second for greed. And expect customer to play outside blocking the sidewalk out in winter weather for +2 hrs. Justify increasing price to cover his overhead when store is barely open for one full business day out of the week. Save your money and gas go elsewhere.

  I recently visited The Light, on a Saturday night, and it was better than alright! Friends and I had so much fun hanging out at the shop, learning how to play new games, and making friends. The store is clean, has snacks/drinks available, and plenty of seating for you to come play. There's plenty of street parking out front and a small parking lot in the back. Greg, the owner, is super friendly and has built up a great community of locals! If you're looking for anything in particular and it isn't in stock in the store, he'll try his best to acquire the product for you. I don't know many shop
