We've been going to Tower of Games for nearly a decade. They have everything you need for running D&D--dice, player's handbooks, modules, even minis--or Warhammer. They also stock board games, card games (Magic, Pokémon), and game adjacent accessories like posters, snacks, play mats, and so much more. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, too. Finally, if you're looking for a pick up game or a space to run minis or a TTRP, they have tables set up for that purpose. An all around great experience!

I can’t speak on anyone else’s negative experiences. Before placing my first pre order , I asked a couple of people who told me NOT to go to tower of games. However it is right next to my house and I wasn’t able to get one piece any other way. My first pre order with them was Op13, then OP14 then EB 03. I all have received my Phantasmal flames pre orders and my ascended hero’s Pre orders. Always the day of and it is hassle free. No waiting in lines. No having to deal with rude people in the hobby. You can just call , place your pre order, then when the product releases I normally just call the

Not a great experience. As somebody who grew up in the area, with heavy hitting shops like Tower of Games, Cool Stuff and Kaboom - VA Beach was the reason I started my own card shop. These shops are legendary. Or were. I’m not gonna leave a petty 1 star - but Tower of Games may have lost their way. I walked in with a binder of about 50 singles, nothing less than $300 value a piece. I just wanted to trade for some cards - and I couldn’t do that without giving my name, number, email and yadda yadda. Just trade me cards dude. Literally the girl was disinterested in even seeing the cards I had -

So I newly found this place due to my children liking D&D. It has tons of Role playing games and add-ons, dice and other things. They have limited Pokémon things but some. The staff is extremely helpful and respectful. The only reason why it is 4 instead of 5 stars is because if you come in while multiple tables are being used... it makes it hard to move around the front of the store. Understanding the draw of seeing some playing tables they would probably be better suited for the back area that is a little clearer. Plus (i do NOT blame the store for this) when you run across a rude player who

Me and my wife bought a board game Monday the 2nd. We could not get into the game so on the 5th I came back to return it hoping to possibly get a different game there. The employee Inform me that there is a 24-hour policy on pre-owned board games. It would have been nice to have been informed prior to the purchase. So now I just own a $50 board game that will never be touched. I wouldn't recommend buying pre-owned from them unless you genuinely know that you want that game. Update: The manager called and corrected the dilemma I genuinely appreciate them reaching out and helping me out. Managem

Plenty of tables to play which is never a complaint. However, during the middle of my trade-in the employee continued to pause the trade to assist other customers. The line continued to grow and the other two employees were just chilling at the other cash register not assisting the still growing line. After nearly 22 minutes of my trade being interrupted by customers who came after me they were finally able to continue the trade. The area in the store is fantastic but how they handle servicing the customers is not. It would be a tad different if there was only one employee at the counter. T

This is a great place to go for anyone looking for a game to play. They have everything CCG like Magic, Star Wars, Lorcana and more. There are tabetop games like War Hammer (I unfortunately don't know the others). The event calendar is full of structured events for everyone, even commander. This is probably my favorite thing about Tower. If you aren't good at meeting new people you won't have anything to worry about, because you get matched up with a group for the event. Update: Tower is increasing the bulk magic prices at all rarities from double to triple their current.

The two times I have come it I have been welcomed by helpful staff and kind shoppers. Patrick and Annie specifically helped me with pointing me in the right direction to paint my brand new army. 10/10 and very beginner friendly staff.
