  I stopped by the shop today and I got an excellent deal on a Wemby Rookie in a PSA 10 slab!! I got to meet Wes the owner today! He was very friendly and accommodating! The selection was incredible and they have cards to fit everybody’s price range. Easily the Best card shop in Raleigh area and I highly recommend this place to everybody! They also have some GI Joe, Ninja turtle, and Star Wars action figures for anyone interested in those items…

  Update to this review: From a 1 star to a 5 star Wes, the shop owner contacted me personally the day of this review wanting to apologize for this after it happened and to due right by me. The way he handled himself completely made me reconsider this shop, make a deal with him on the card and visit again. I did indeed step foot into the shop and it does justice to the hobby. Keep up the good work Wes. Submitted a graded card for appraisal through their website. They say allow 3-5 business days to respond. It took them 19 business days to respond back. They offered 320 on a 410 valuation base

  What a great experience! Went in with a gift card and a couple autographed cards, came out with some signed memorabilia and some Pokemon cards for the kid. Not sure which one of us was happier haha! Spent some time checking out the selection of singles, Hudson was really friendly and answered all of my questions. There were a lot of variables when I went to checkout but the owner and the whole team made it impressively easy. It was my first time there, but you can consider me a repeat customer, I'll definitely be back. 10/10

  Love this place! Went in this morning to sell some cards before work & these guys were honest, respectful, and we came up with a great deal for the singles. I knew I wanted to sell to these guys & I sincerely appreciate it! I've also shopped here a number of times & the product selection is incredible. If you're looking for Cards close to downtown Raleigh, be sure to hit these guys up. Absolute LEGENDS! Shoutout to Holden for the positive experience this morning as well. We came up with a number I was very happy with on my selling. No brainer I'll be back multiple times.

  A great family owned business. My 8 year old attended a birthday party here and had the best time. He walked away with a ton of cards to start his sports cards collection included in the party. He also was already collecting Pokemon cards and when he asked for a rare one for Christmas late in December I remembered Oak City Sports Cards has Pokemon cards too. They saved the day on 12/23 with a unique Pokemon card, just in time to make it under the Christmas tree. I highly recommend the store!
