  This place is amazing. The best pokemon card shop in Maryland. They have a lot of cards including packs, etbs, singles, slabs and more. The employees are very helpful and courteous and amicable. I have great experiences each time I have been here. Fair with pricing as well. I've got so many great cards to add to my collection from here. This is my go to spot for pokemon TCG and I will be a repeat customer customer going forward.

  I’m glad to have a local shop that is reasonable and always willing to work with you to make sure you leave satisfied. Shoutout to Andy and the team. Andy will amaze you with his endless knowledge and awareness. Even though we stayed an hour and a half after closing, Andy was still willing to stay and not once did I feel rushed. He was busy helping three parties at the same time and still remembered the cards we asked for. They have a crazy amount of cards and sealed products along with a sweet aesthetic/atmosphere. Personally being a dad simply looking to connect with his kids i came in with zero knowledge of what to do and was set-up with a great starter deck and items needed to do a battle.   This store is amazing - my kids had been begging me to go for weeks before we made it to Kensington, and it more than lived up to their expectations (and certainly exceeded mine). The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, and also kind and patient as the kids explored the environment and process. My daughter was so excited to find a Jolteon stuffed animal that she was ready to trade several prized cards for - and the store staff member was so kind that she gave it to her instead! I do not expect that to be repeated :), but it definitely won my daughter over as a customer. What a great local shop

  In an era where the hobby of Pokemon cards has never been more expensive and inaccessible, I honestly didn’t know a place like Player 1 Services could exist. But when you learn that they’ve been hobbyists since the start of the game in 1999, it makes a ton of sense. It doesn’t feel like a shop, but instead a friend’s place where likeminded collectors can talk about a shared interest. Ben and Brenna not only helped us find several cards we were looking for, including a Wooper from 2001’s Neo Discovery set, but they also made us feel incredibly welcome to the store even when the checkout line

  This card shop is one of, if not the best card shop I’ve been to. Came from out of state to visit this card shop and from the service Ben provided to the shop itself, amazing. They have almost every Pokemon card you could want, especially if you’re trying to complete a set. They were quick with helping me find cards from my list. They are priced very fair (market value or better). Their inventory is AMAZING. They also have their own grading service for cards. Saw a lot of great customer service today and will be my number one card shop whether I am local or out of state.
