  Really liked the layout of the store with a winding pattern so you could walk around easily. Clean and cute, had discounted manga with easy-intro titles, and comic series were alphabetical and in order. Merch plentiful with varied selection. Staff open to asking about fandom and provided a good experience, appreciate it :)

  I've been meaning to stop by this place for ages, and I'm so glad I finally made it in! The blind box selection is absolutely unmatched, the sticker and art selection is amazing, and they even have space for playing TCGs and video games. We'll definitely be back!!

  So cute, clean, and cozy!! The owner is super nice and great to chat with. There's a fantastic variety of goods and it was hard to not spend all my money haha! They had cards, dice, manga (including my favorite, Witch Hat Atelier!), plushies, collectibles, snacks, drinks, stickers, pins, and more. I got a Frieren figure and a manga from them very very reasonably priced. I will definitely be coming back regularly.

  I’ve really enjoyed my visits to Sidearch! They’ve got a really friendly staff, great snacks, and most importantly used/affordable manga books. They also always seem to have packs of Pokemon cards from different series and even boxes of bulk. The selection of handmade items & art is also ever-present. 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely enjoy future visits. : )

  My new favorite anime shop in Portland!! If you’ve been to all the others and can’t find the figures you want, I highly recommend checking out Sidearc! They had a Fern (Frieren), Grandma Seiko (Dandadan), AND Momo (Dandadan) figure the first time I went. NONE of the other anime shops in town had anything even remotely similar in stock. Super friendly owner and great prices! Also incredible snacks!
