  Great place to find and try new games. Today I tried War For Chicken Island. It was fun and pretty easy to learn. Also tried Everdale which is also a very good game. Good selection of "House Games" to try before you buy. If they don't have it in stock, they can order it for you. I always love coming here. If you like board games, this place should be on your "places to visit" list.   Silver King Games is more than just a place to buy minis and supplies. It’s a true community hub and one of Tacoma’s hidden treasures. John, the owner, is a genuinely good guy. Patient, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. He’s the kind of person who makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in the door.   Haven't been here and won't go. They have a Facebook page but no web site. Neocities and Dreamweaver are free. I'm a 40 year IT guy, Facebook is a security nightmare, and they have no actual internet presence where I can check their stock, services, and hours before I make the drive from Olympia.

  Great shopping experience. John, the owner knows the hobby quite well and is very good at answering questions that will help a customer find a game that is right for them. The shop just recently relocated into a smaller space next to their old location. Primary access is through the large parking lot behind the building on 56th and Washington. The door is well marked. One of the best features of the store is the huge game area upstairs. There are several "Break-out" rooms and one large main room. All rooms have good sized gaming tables and chairs.   I just moved from Georgia to Fort Lewis, I went hunting for local game shops and this was the 3rd one my family and I visited. The owner is nice and feels like you can ask him about anything ttrpg. He orders things on Monday so if you got a request you may want to drop in and ask and see if he can get it. Parking is good, I enjoy this place and I've only been there a handful of times currently, looking forward to being a regular.

  One of the friendliest board game stores in the area! They have open areas for people to actually play games for no charge, which is fantastic! Decent selection of board games, and super friendly staff. They also have a membership option to get access to dedicated table space. They post an event calendar with recurring D&D games, board game meetups and more. Check them out!
