  my favorite LCB store. wish there was a comic shop closer to the Fuquay area, but I go here at least once a month to pick up my pull list. Was so thankful they included the new Absolute Batman Annual #1 without me asking because I was subscribed to Absolute Batman - that sold out so fast and I was worried I would miss the original printing. I got it today and I was so thrilled. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful

  I've been to many comic book stores across the US but Ultimate Comics really provided an incredible experience for myself and my partner. It was so incredibly fun, the staff was super kind, the depth of comics they had was astounding (especially in the back of the store), the posters and merchandise was like walking in a nerd candy store, and they even had a great Manga section! Can't wait to come back next time I visit Raleigh.

  Ultimate Comics absolutely lived up to its name! The staff were super knowledgeable and friendly, helping me find some new books I had not even heard about yet that absolutely caught me interest based on a brief conversation! They had an impressive selection of BackIssues, and plenty of new issues as well. Their collectibles selection was hit or miss, but everything they DID have was priced fairly. You aren't likely to find any buried treasure here, but if you're after some recent or semi-recent comics, or some of the latest Funko Pops on the market, Ultimate Comics is a worthwhile stop!

  Made 5 stars look easy. 3/3/24: first time in this shop and was greeted immediately even though the lady who greeted me was ringing another customer up (3 stars right away). Then, after being blown away by the selection itself as well as the organization of that selection, I had a few questions like "Am I really making good decisions,.. will mom be proud of me?," "Is this title as hot as I heard?," or "How come my buddy isn't into Godzilla books, seriously, what's up with that?"   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Where Your Wallet Goes In for a Visit and Never Comes Back” Ultimate Comics is basically a magical vortex where time stops, and your bank account cries quietly in the corner. You walk in thinking you’re “just browsing” and suddenly you own three variant covers, two Funko Pops, and a subscription to a comic you didn’t even know existed. The staff? Absolute legends. They can explain multiverse theory, the difference between Earth-616 and Earth-1610, and somehow remember your name — all while dodging rogue action figures that have clearly staged a coup.
